Professional coaching involves a skilled and ethical partnership between a coach and a client to achieve the client's goals. A professional coach demonstrates competence, integrity, and a commitment to confidentiality.
Experience in coaching enhances a coach's ability to understand diverse client needs, ask powerful questions, and provide meaningful support to foster a client's personal and professional development.
People's career aspirations and challenges often look like this:
Hi, I'm Andre, and these tend to be questions for too many people nowadays.
Let's rewind about 25 years ago when I confronted a massive career challenge.
With a decade of self-employment, the prospects for my future seemed very constrained. Building a staff-centered enterprise or investing financially to grow a contracting business were options beyond my ambitions. Seriously, I needed a change.
But what, how, and where would I go?
I applied for it, and due to my previous naval dockyard experience, I had an excellent job interview with a similar company. So, feeling exceptionally upbeat, I took the Medical Test.
For anyone, some very slight or marginal color blindness might not be apparent. With an excellent work history, I had never considered myself this way because I had never encountered any issues.
But sometimes reality has a way of dropping in from nowhere: I failed the Ishihara Colour-blind Test. I felt devastated!
With my career track spiraling downward, life resembled an out-of-control tumble!
Where was I to turn? How was I going to fix the situation, this mess?
I felt helpless.
Moving on…
About 15 years ago, I discovered Personal Development and the massive improvements it made to individuals, teams, and entire companies when implemented well.
Be assured that my mistakes proved to be costly. However, I continued to invest in my development through formal and self-education.
During this phase, I noticed that Leadership and Communication had fallen behind our rapid progress in Process Management and Technology. Modern expectations lacked properly considered and facilitated improvements to the human condition, mindset, and practices to keep pace.
Unfortunately, too many person-related situations fell through cracks that increasingly formed in the various systems.
That's why I've become a Life Coach, dedicated to helping people to improve their lives through effective Personal Development.
After several years of developing expertise in various industries and markets, I appreciate that The Future of Work poses massive challenges for society.
In the post-Covid19 era, people who want to embrace new opportunities, or overcome current and emerging challenges need flexibility and resillience to adapt the skills they already have.
But like so many situations in life, finding a clear and safe enough starting point can be difficult.
If this scenario feels familiar, I can help you to reduce uncertainty, overwhelm, and stress. This will help reset your life and career so that you're back on a track that works for you.
Send me a note if you'd like to find out more,
Kind Regards,
Andre

Yes, coaching is confidential.
Professional coaches prioritize client privacy and trust by keeping information shared during coaching sessions confidential. Exceptions occur if there are clear concerns for client safety or the coach has a genuine legal obligation to disclose certain information.
It is essential to discuss confidentiality policies with your coach to ensure a clear understanding of how your information will be handled properly.
The timeframe for achieving coaching results varies depending on individual goals, the complexity of challenges, and the frequency of coaching sessions.
Some clients may experience positive changes in a few sessions, while others may require more time. A typical coaching engagement may last several weeks to a few months. Consistency, commitment, and the client's active participation contribute to the effectiveness and speed of achieving desired results. It's important to discuss expectations and timelines with your coach to set realistic goals.
